Saint Mark’s Scout Group was officially founded in 1966 at Saint Mark Church in Shoubra, Cairo, making it the oldest church-based scout group in Egypt. Over the decades, it has grown steadily to become one of the largest and most dynamic scout groups in the country.
Today, the group proudly includes more than 1000 members across all three scouting branches: Air Scouts, a now fully established Sea Scouts division, and the newly launched Land Scouts, which was introduced in 2022 to complete the group’s comprehensive scouting presence. |
